Small Intestine Problems Can Be Avoided
- Just Squat
The ileo-caecal valve is a sphincter muscle situated
at the junction of the small intestine (ileum) and the large
intestine. Its critical function is to limit the reflux of
colonic contents into the ileum.
Another serious condition caused by sitting to evacuate instead
of squatting is the leakage of wastes into the small intestine.
This affects the ileo-caecal valve, which is considered by
modern medicine to be inherently flawed because it is so often
leaking. . This valve is closed while squatting but relaxes
open in the sitting position. With straining, wastes are forced
back into the small intestine where they are "digested" and
make their way into the blood stream, placing extra strain on
the liver which must now filter the toxins out. Ask a
kinesiologist and they will most likely tell you that the
ileo-caecal correction is one of the most common corrections
that need to be done. Also, the toxins get into the bloodstream
and hence put more pressure on the liver which has to detox
them.
Bowel problems are one of those topics few like to talk about.
If you've suffered from any of these problems, though, you know
they can be both painful and frustrating. If you are looking
for relief, a squat-toilet may be right for you.
