People in Africa, Asia and Europe Do Not Get Hemherrhoids, Colon Cancer, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Prostate or Uterine Disorders.
WHY? Because They Squat

The Western World Toilet Was Not Designed According To Human Needs.  It Is Not Ergonomically Correct! The Only Natural And Correct Posture For Defecation Is A Squat Position.

The rectum has a built-in “kink” designed to maintain continence. It only straightens out when squatting. Sitting on the toilet, one has to strain against the kink, which damages the delicate tissues and causes the veins to become distended. None of this was taken into consideration when the sitting toilet was designed. The creators had no knowledge of human physiology – and sincerely believed that they were improving people's lives.

Why a “Squat Toilet”?

When seated the anal canal is not straight. It curves quite sharply, the kink designed to maintain continence, and this frequently results in obstructive constipation. Because of the curve when sitting, straining is required to empty the bowels and this can damage the delicate tissues, and cause the veins to become distended. This can result in hemorrhoids. In fact, a study published in the Journal of Medical Science in 1987 showed a 90% cure rate from hemorrhoids after switching to the squatting position.

In a full, natural squatting position the full weight of the body rests on the feet. Squatting opens the muscles of the pelvic area, angles the rectum for the best possible mechanical advantage, braces the muscles of the abdomen, and pushes the thighs into the abdomen to supply extra force for the abdominal musculature as well as supports both the ascending and descending colon. Squatting also protects the pelvic nerves by keeping the perineum rigid.

Medical imaging shows that in a squat position, the rectum is straight and vertical. The anal canal is vertically aligned with the rectum so bowel contents pass through easily with minimal effort, thus avoiding the pressure conducive to hemorrhoids and lower bowel damage. Evacuation is more complete, efficient, and timely so that stool transit time is reduced and repetitive constipation may be avoided. Repetitive constipation is a risk factor for colorectal cancer.

People who have been suffering usually notice significant comfort improvement within seven days of making this simple change of habit to the squat posture because body wastes pass through the straightened anal canal. Over a longer period of time health improvements develop, due to your body being free of extra toxins. Bladder function can improve after several months due to an improved pelvic floor nerve supply.

Taking all this into consideration maybe it’s time to start our children off right. If you’ve noticed, babies automatically squat to defecate. It’s completely natural to them, so they take to the squat toilets very quickly. Plus they don’t have to sit for long periods of time to empty their bowels like they do on the sitting toilet. Thinking back to when I was training my babies I recall all the times when they would sit, for what seemed like an hour, on their potty but not relieving themselves. Then after putting their clothing back on them they would walk off and immediately potty in their diapers. This is a common occurrence you hear mothers speak of. Doctors will tell you that they do this because of habit or, worse, that they are playing a control game with you. It’s neither…their little bodies are not retrained to go against nature yet. Why are we so quick to explain things away as attitude problems? They want it done and over with as badly as you do! Just another one of those, “how I wish I knew then what I know now”, moments in my life.

Actual Asian Squat toilets can be purchased but can be costly and in some areas building codes do not permit them as they are permanent structures. You can purchase toilet conversions or platforms which you set up around your existing commode. These work well for some, however you may find them hard to maneuver if you are not used to, or capable of, climbing up on them due to your weight or other physical problems.  Also be prepared for a series of big SPLASHES!!  When "dropping" anywhere from one to two FEET, be ready...  When I use these devices I can count on my whole backside being soaked by the flying and splashing water that inevitably results from "high aerial drops".
